Private Tour Guide in Israel - Jacob Firsel

I arrange for you to see Israel "up close and personal." You'll see what the bus tours don't show and what the tour agents may not know about, taking you beyond the standard trip.

As your private tour guide in Israel I ensure everything is taken care of:

  • I meet you at the airport
  • I offer you an experience customized according to your interests
  • I arrange accommodations at small, intimate boutique hotels
  • I provide transportation in a luxury SUV
I'll be at your side to take care of everything. You just sit back and enjoy.

You get the best of both worlds: Born and educated in Chicago, I speak your language and know the Western standards to which you are accustomed. I have been living in Israel since 1977, served in the IDF as a combat medic, married a native Israeli and have raised three sabra sons. As such, I am intimately familiar with my homeland and would love to show you around my favorite places.

I have been licensed by the Ministry of Tourism since 1988. Additionally, as a graduate of Northwestern University's Archaeological Field School with an M.A. in Education from Northwestern University, I will give you unique insights into this Land and its people. We can survey the country from wineries in the Golan Heights in the north to Solomon's mines near Eilat in the south - or, if you prefer, take an in-depth look into Jerusalem's Old City, exploring the historical layers of this ancient capital from King David to today.

I offer Individual and Family Tours as well as private tours specializing in Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, in World Heritage sites and in holyland tours.
